All projects start with a little detective work so we can begin the design work with thoughtful and clear direction.

Our creative process begins with a story and concept. It is a blended story of your brand, the context of the building & site and the culture of the neighborhood around it.

We establish the locations of all new and existing walls, spaces and key design elements, such as  locations for millwork, furniture  layouts and focal architectural finishes.

We dig a little deeper into the design details here. We work  through all details - from ceiling heights, millwork details, finish transitions, lighting fixtures and outlets locations as well as furniture types and locations.

We make sure that the design is everything that you dreamed by attending regular contractor meetings and site visits. We review all shop drawings and submittals, provide additional detail drawings and design sketches for clarification, answer requests for information and coordinate all furniture & decor deliveries & installation.

We prepare furniture selections - whether it be from new, vintage  and custom designed sources and then work through all details to ensure nothing is left unconsidered.
